Art Song KC presents "American Voices", a recital of American art song by legendary American composers Jake Heggie, Lori Laitman, Tom Cipullo, and Margaret Bonds. The program includes Heggie's "Natural Selection", Laitman's "Orange Afternoon Lover", Cipullo's "Another Reason Why I Don't Keep a Gun in the House", and Bonds' "Three Dream Portraits".

Performers include Lindsey Lang, soprano; Christina Adams, mezzo-soprano; Jereld Sa'Von Hayes, tenor; and Truman Grant, tenor. They are joined at the piano by the founder and artistic director of Art Song KC, Hans Bridger Heruth.

Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $15 at the door.
